Dr. Ali Y. Bazzi, Superintendent of Schools – Dr. Ali Bazzi, is the President of Hamadeh Educational Services (HES) and Superintendent of Schools for all HES Academies. Dr. Bazzi has been with HES since 2012. He earned his Ph.D. in educational studies from Eastern Michigan University.
With a distinguished background in education, Dr. Bazzi brings a remarkable blend of leadership acumen and industry insight to the organization. His exceptional educational track record of driving operational excellence, fostering collaboration, and achieving tangible results caught the attention of Washington D.C. by The Arab American Foundation. Dr. Bazzi was inducted to the Arab American Foundations “40 under 40” Class of 2022 for his accomplishments with the Arab American community in education.
Having held key educational leadership roles in other districts and successfully navigating through dynamic educational landscapes, Dr. Bazzi possesses a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. In 2015 and 2017, Dr. Bazzi was a finalist for the MAPSA Administrator of the Year award, which is handed out to the top performing administrators for their performance and contribution to education. Some of the notable awards that the HES schools received include: #1 Top Performing School by Mackinaw Center for Public Policy (2016), #1 Safest School in the State of Michigan (Niche.com 2016), Bronze Medal – U.S. World News for Best Performing High School (2016), and Silver Medal-U.S. World News for Best Performing High School (2017).
